Cancelled Water Delivery

“The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency abruptly changed its mind Saturday about delivering fresh water to residents of a northeastern Pennsylvania village where residential wells were found to be tainted by a natural gas drilling operation.”

With the cancellation of the water delivery, residents of the Pennsylvania village are becoming increasingly flustered with the lack of water in the town, and are continuing to have difficulty fulfilling basic daily tasks such as bathing, washing dishes, and flushing toilets.

The situation in Dimock, Pennsylvania is one that is not uncommon in the United States where mining and fracking are thriving businesses.
