New Harvesting Approach Boosts Energy Output From Bacteria

This article focuses on the use of efficient energy with bacteria. Scientists in the University of Colorado, Denver have developed a system that increases the amount of energy used and taken from MFCs by a little more than 70 times. Because of this discovery, energy is used efficiently. “MFCs are emerging as a way to use bacteria to directly harvest electricity from biodegradable materials, such as wastewater or marine sediments.”
