Coyotes may soon be hanging out in your backyard

This article was about how coyotes along with mountain lions, bears, and wolves are starting to adapt to living in the suburbs and urban areas even though this is not meant to be their natural habitat. According to research done by environmental/natural resources Professor Stan Gehrt and Ohio State University, coyotes are establishing territories in busy areas so they do not have to go farther to find food and water. This is happening especially in New York and Chicago. While the coyotes compete for space in urban areas with us humans, they are still easily scared off. They also eat rodents and even bugs that are harmful to humans, and could attack your pets. While they have adapted to city life, they are still dangerous. – Farida Amer
