A Plan to Go Halfway Around the World, Fueled by Plastic Trash

A Cessna plane will fly from Sydney to London fueled by diesel processed from discarded plastic trash.  The fuel comes from Cynar, a British company that has created a technology that makes diesel out of non-reusable plastics that would, if not for the company, end up in landfills.  The pilot, Mr. Rowsell, hopes to convey two messages: to spread word of the harm of plastic pollution and broadcast the possibility of using plastic trash as a fuel resource.
