This image is of the fishing village on Bonny Island in the Niger Delta. It is a region in Africa that was suppose to be booming 1n 1965 after the discovery of oil. However, as you can see, this did not happen. Oceans are becoming more and more polluted everyday. People throw plastic and trash in the ocean and it eventually collects in one location. In the Mississippi River Delta, there is a dead zone that forms every summer. There are many forms of pollution. It is not always physical. There is noise pollution. This deals with sound waves. However, none of the pollution will stop if humans continue to pollute the oceans like they do.
