Making Some Effort, but North Texas Continues to Run the Water

In one of the fastest growing areas, a house in Dallas just received the Environmental Protection Agency’s Water Sense endorsement.  Dallas is a huge city, with more restaurants per capita than any other city as well as more industry and more hotel rooms.  In order to support all this, there must be a sufficient water supply.  As the population continues to grow, the city has learned to cut the water demand.  Dallas is not the only city, San Antonio has also been successful in cutting down the water demand with an ever growing population.  Northern Texas officials claim to have enough water to sustain growth in the coming decades.  Dallas is a great example of what cities all around the world can start doing to conserve water to accommodate to the population growth.
