Trash Into Gas, Efficiently? An Army Test May Tell

We have longed for an opportunity of getting rid of all of our trash in an eco-friendly manner but there have always been drawbacks such as it is too expensive, the process is too polluting and so on.  However, Mike Hart and his company Sierra Energy have been working on a waste-to-energy system that is basically a modified blast furnace.  Inside the machine, a chemical reaction takes place, heating the trash  without combustion.  This machine, called the FastOX, is getting ready to be used by its first customer the United States Army.
