A recent study has shown that around 470,000 people die each year because of human increases in the ozone. It also shows that about 2.1 million deaths are caused each year because of human caused increases in particulate matter. This particulate matter can cause cancer and many respitory diseases. It is concluded in this study that a lot of these deaths are because of climate change. Climate change leads to an increase in air pollution. Higher temperatures can also increase the emissions of organic compounds from trees. This can react in the atmosphere to form ozone and particulate matter. This is a very serious issue.
