Europe’s biggest renewable energy plant completes switch from coal to biomass

The largest coal burning plant in Europe located in England is making a switch from coal power to a more environmentally friendly approach. They are going to switch the process of burning coal to a process of burning wooden pellets. This will Reduce the emissions of the power plant by 80% and reduce price of power in England. This is significant because it shows the english government’s effort to make electricity in a more efficient way, and will reduce the pollution coming from the plant.
