Climate Aids in Study Face Big Obstacles

There are many new technologies nowadays that could be helping out our environment with its heat levels and carbon dioxide emission. These new technologies known as BECCS( Bio energy with Carbon Capture and Storage) are able to completely capture all of the gas and inject it underground. Studies have shown that if these Beccs are widely adopted, by 2050 we could have captured 10 billion metric tons a year. However, there are obstacles in the way of these pieces of technology that inhibit their spread. The primary reason is that the Beccs are not so financially efficient, and also it would cost a great deal in order for these machines to make a significant impact on the CO2 levels. Their are also some questions about the long term effectiveness and safety of the underground storage of these machines.
