According to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), the amount of Rhinos killed in Africa last year  was higher than expected. The staggering amount of 1303 was beaten by the even worse one of 1338. Meaning that the worst predictions where nothing compared to the violence and murders that illegal poachers are able to create. But not everything is bad, during last year the amount of rhinos killed in South Africa and Kenya was lower than previous years. Both governments where able to use park rangers, police, and other forces to stop these illegal actions. According to the writer, this is how other countries such as Mozambique should follow this example. Things such as better preparation, and supplies to fight these killers would be able to have the effect it has had in South Africa and Kenya. Finally it is important to not only stop these hunters in the plains, but also in other countries. Countries must stop the market that some animals create so that this situation isn’t even thought of.
