Vegan Eating Would Slash Food's Global Warming Emissions: Study

This article is about how eating less meat and more fruit and vegetables, the world could prevent many deaths per year, cut emissions substantially,  and save billions of dollars each year.

If people would adopt a vegan diet, this article states that 5.1 million deaths per  year. In addition, it was stated that $700 billion to $1 trillion per year on healthcare.

In order to achieve a diet that sticks to only vegetables, there would to be a 25 percent increase in the number of fruits and vegetables eaten globally, and a 56 percent cut in red meat.
